“The Hype Band was truly one of the highlights of our wedding- we couldn’t be happier with the performance. We knew we wanted live music and we had heard many great things about this band so we booked them and were happy right from day one. Dalton took the time to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for and what kind of music we wanted him to play. They even went above and beyond when I requested (last minute I might add) to know our first dance song even though it was pretty old and not very popular- and they did an exceptional job. Our wedding was almost four months ago and we still have people commenting on the band and how interactive and fun they were. They offer such a diverse range of songs and tried to accommodate any requests that were given. The dance floor was basically packed all night! We could go on and on with how amazing and talented the Hype Band are and are so happy we decided to have them be apart of our wedding day!”

“The Hype was absolutely incredible. My husband and I both agreed that we wanted live music at the wedding but found it incredibly challenging to find a band. Many of them were limited in the range of music they could offer, often not appealing to a younger crowd, and were just a bit too cheesy. We were looking for a band that could cover a wide range of genres and keep all the guests at our wedding happy. We were thrilled when we came across the The Hype through some online searches. We had to put a lot of faith in the band as we live in Amsterdam and had our wedding in Toronto, and they absolutely followed through the day of. They were on time, were able to work around a tricky space (they had to set up in the ceremony space during the cocktail hour) and most importantly, their performance was incredible. There wasn’t a limit to the songs they were able to perform between Dalton and the lead female vocalist. We received compliments all night on their performance. I would highly recommend The Hype as a wedding band.”

Their song list was also very upbeat with a extremely wide variety for any person to enjoy. A bonus was that with notice, they learned to play our wedding song (an R&B song) and it came out so beautifully - everyone at the wedding was commenting how nice it sounded live!
